I launched CyborgsLife in August 2026. It follows the technologies carrying us toward cybernetic life, and what they mean for the people who will live with them.
It starts as a technology watch and a personal room for my writing on the subject. But this site is a long bet. I'm working out, in public, how technology and science might let a person outlive their own biology — and I'll share my own plan to stay alive as long as possible. Both belong here.
If you believe death is simply inevitable, I'd invite you to look at what's actually happening: the scientific world is converging on the idea that aging — the principal cause of death — is a disease, and that diseases get cured.
I think it's worth dying trying to live longer. There's too much left to discover.
Where this platform goes next depends on what these technologies become, and how fast they merge with us.
Two kinds of writing
Pulses are short dispatches on a single development. Each cites its primary sources, because a pulse reports — it does not assert.
Articles are long-form and authored by me: they take a position and follow a thread across several developments.

I'm Mario Tremblay. Former Special Forces airborne soldier and combat engineer, I moved into robotics in the late 1990s.
While studying robotics engineering at ÉTS (École de technologie supérieure) in Montreal, I founded RobotShop in 2003 to address a major gap in access to robotics technologies. Today, RobotShop.com is a leading global platform for robotics solutions, from DIY kits to humanoids and professional systems.
In 2018, I founded Medfuture on the conviction that technology can extend both human lifespan and healthspan. After building the company around preventive healthcare, advanced testing and meaningful health measurement, I sold Medfuture in 2026. I sold the company, but not the conviction that created it.
I'm a strong advocate for the transformative power of emerging technologies. I believe they'll catalyze profound changes in human evolution over the coming decades, and redefine what it means to be human.
