D-Robotics said on 17 September 2026 that it had closed a $400 million Series C round. The company describes the lead investor as a leading global internet company, joined by institutional investors and by existing shareholders making follow-on investments.

D-Robotics sells the computing layer that embodied-AI machines run on: the Sunrise line of chips and the RDK robotics developer kits. Cumulative shipments of Sunrise chips passed 8 million units in the first half of 2026. The Sunrise S600, an embodied-AI computing chip launched in November 2025, has been adopted by more than 20 customers within six months, among them UBTECH, FOURIER, Astribot, Spirit AI, X Square Robot, PaXini Tech, TARS and Booster Robotics, with the majority, the company says, already in mass production.

The round funds an expansion of the Sunrise portfolio across computing tiers and a software platform covering the robot development chain.

The customer list is the part that carries information: it names the humanoid and manipulation companies whose on-board compute this supplier provides.
