Qiyuan Robot, sold internationally as PrimeBot, launched two personal robots at an event in Shanghai on 20 September 2026. The brand belongs to the Shanghai-listed materials maker Swancor. Both base models cost 19,999 yuan, about $2,800: Qiyuan Q1 and Qiyuan T1. A Q1 Explorer edition sells for 26,999 yuan and a T1 Pro for 29,999 yuan.

The Q1 is a small humanoid, about 88 centimetres tall with 22 degrees of freedom, aimed at children’s interaction, graphical programming and developers, with a customisable appearance, voice and personality. The T1 changes shape on its own: indoors it rolls as a wheeled humanoid, outdoors it becomes a four-legged robot for grass, gravel and stairs. It can follow its owner and carry objects.

According to Gadget Review, sales opened on launch day and orders ship in sequence from 1 October 2026. The robots come off a line built with the robotics unit of Lens Technology, sized for an initial 10,000 units; 36Kr, citing Jiemian News, reports one robot leaving the assembly line every 2.5 minutes. Neither source gives a figure for units delivered so far.
