PsiBot completed a funding round of more than $100 million, reported on 28 August 2026. The investor list is the notable part: Ningbo Tuopu Group, Lens Technology, 37 Interactive Entertainment, Wuhu Investment Holding Group and Fosun Fortune Capital, with continued backing from existing shareholder Zhuhai Technology Industry Group. Tuopu and Lens are automotive and consumer-electronics suppliers rather than venture funds, which is a manufacturing bet on embodied AI rather than a financial one.

The company works on dexterous manipulation through a two-model architecture. Psi-R2 is an operation-policy model, deciding what to do; Psi-W0 is an action-conditioned world model, predicting what happens if it does. Splitting the two lets the policy be evaluated against a learned simulation of consequences rather than only against reward from the real world, which is the direction much of the field has moved as pure imitation learning has hit its limits on contact-rich tasks.

Stated uses of the capital are embodied-world-model research, human-operation data collection, and deployments in logistics and advanced manufacturing. The data collection is the quiet dependency: manipulation policies are limited by recorded human demonstrations, and buying that data is now a line item.
