思昇科技, transliterated Sisheng Technology, closed a seed-plus round of several tens of millions of yuan on 18 August 2026, according to PEdaily. Guoqi Investment (国汽投资) led it, with Yuanhe Puhua, the Global Health Industry Innovation Center, the Inno Angel fund and Tsinghua’s Shuimu alumni seed fund taking part, and Lightsource Capital advising.

The company builds brain-computer interfaces around focused ultrasound rather than electrodes. That is a different bet from the implantable BCI companies raising money in China this month: ultrasound reaches deep brain structures through an intact skull without surgery, giving up the spatial precision that electrode arrays get by being physically present. The stated targets are neuromodulation, assisting drug delivery into the brain, and a platform for brain-science research. The founder, Yan Yimo, was born in 1995 and trained at Tsinghua.

Two caveats belong on a round this early. The company holds no medical-device registration, and the announcement describes early product development and verification rather than clinical results. And the report is single-sourced and in Chinese — no English-language release from the company accompanies it.
