UBTECH Robotics put its Industrial Humanoid Robot Super Smart Factory into operation on 12 September 2026, in the Northern Ecological New Area of Liuzhou, Guangxi. The plant is planned for an annual capacity above 10,000 units and designed around a takt of one industrial humanoid every ten minutes. It builds the Walker S and Cruzr series — the Walker S2 stands 1.76 m, carries 15 kg and has 52 degrees of freedom.
The line’s distinguishing feature is that robots do part of the work of making robots. Wheeled Cruzr platforms handle unstacking, stacking, loading and transport on the material-supply side, collaborative arms and automated logistics carry assembly, and a digital scheduling layer runs the site end to end. China News Service calls it the first factory in Guangxi to close that loop. UBTECH built the plant’s digital manufacturing base with Siemens.
The capacity claim is a plan, not an output: a designed takt is what a line can do when every station is fed, and nothing announced on Saturday says how many humanoids left it that week. What is concrete is the floor itself — a mixed-model assembly hall for full-size industrial humanoids, running.
