Unitree Robotics launched the G1+ on 15 September 2026, a refresh of its G1 humanoid listed at about RMB 95,000 tax-included. The company names six changes.
The neck gains two degrees of freedom — roughly −25° to 36° of pitch and ±110° of yaw — so the head can turn and tilt during inspection and conversation instead of tracking with the whole torso. Motors are rebuilt across the body: peak torque at the shoulder and waist rises about 110% while heat at matched torque falls about 72%, arm peak torque rises about 43% with heat down about 30%, and thigh motors run about 28% cooler at the same torque. Perception combines a stereo pair on a 60 mm baseline with a wide mono camera, 3D lidar and an abdomen camera. A six-microphone far-field array handles voice with direction-finding and echo suppression, five touch points on the head accept taps and gesture unlocks, and an external power port has been added.
Read narrowly, this is endurance and ergonomics rather than new capability. The heat numbers are the ones that decide whether a humanoid can hold torque through a shift instead of thermally throttling, and the neck is what lets a machine look at the thing it is being asked about. Pricing for the research-oriented EDU variant has not been published.
