Unitree Robotics priced its STAR Market listing at 150.80 yuan ($22.30) a share on 6 August 2026, issuing about 40.44 million shares — 10% of its enlarged capital — to raise roughly 6.1 billion yuan. CITIC Securities expects the company to be valued above 50 billion yuan once listed. Subscription opened on 10 August, with payment due by the 12th. The listing cleared review in 73 days after approval on 1 June.
The detail worth keeping is the strategic placement: Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence took 933,400 shares, an allocation of 141 million yuan. A frontier model lab buying into a robot manufacturer at pricing is a legible bet that the constraint on embodied AI is the body, not the model — and it is a bet placed with equity rather than a partnership announcement.
Unitree sells the cheapest quadrupeds and humanoids on the market and has done so by manufacturing rather than by licensing intelligence. Public markets now put a number on that position, and a number is a thing competitors can be measured against.
